Your generosity has positively impacted universities, introducing Bridge to over 200 students. Now, 18 players from Uganda are qualified for the FISU World University Mind Sport Championship 2024. UBF is also training students from Burundi, DRC, Chad, and Rwanda, with four players from each country. We need USD 3000 for tracksuits, training equipment, and a one-week training camp. Aimed at introducing the intellectual trick taking game to children of 6 -9 years old. The ToTo Bridge program is aimed at teaching respect, critical thinking, decision making and mathematics skills to children national wide. Your donation brings Bridge to every child, especially those in need.

Following the current aging population of Bridge Players across the World, Uganda Bridge Federation launched a campaign to create an exciting environment around a bridge table with an aim to interest youth to play bridge in a fun and exciting way. Uganda Bridge Federation has spread and it’s still spreading Bridge sport to Primary, Secondary and University education institutions. It’s in these institutions where we find passionate and skilled bridge players who are struggling to stay in school due to failure to raise school fees of as low as USD 40 a term. There are quite many international Bridge championships happening this year but for the start, your donation will help Bridge players in Uganda to prepare and compete at their maiden international Bridge Championship called the Vilnius Cup set to be held in Lithuania, Vilnius from 27th – 29th September 2024. Uganda Bridge Federation is preparing one team equivalent to 6 players and two officials to feature in this world championship- a total budget of USD 10400.00 is required to Secure the visa, pay for accommodation, pay for round flight tickets, entry fees and prepare the team. Your donation will provide essential training and resources for our talented team to compete at the world stage.
